Welcome to Final Fitness

Welcome! Whether you came from our Facebook page, found us on a search engine, or linked through another page, we are glad to have you! My name is Nate, and Final Fitness is my way to share my experiences and help others reach their fitness goals. This blog will provide day to day workouts that are suited for all types of people with all types goals. We will also feature recipes that will work with your exercise routine to help you get in shape without depriving yourself. Our goal is to create a community where you can reach goals whatever they may be.

My personal goals started with simple weight loss. After years working in the fast-paced restaurant industry, my weight was out of control. My stress level was through the roof. My diet was filled with late night fast food meals, and my exercise regimen was non-existent. I decided to get control over my life again; I left restaurant management, enlisted in the Army, and started preparing for the demands of basic training. Instead of being at work having drinks until 3:00 am, I was up at 4:00 am at the gym pumping iron with a good friend.

Having lost 62 pounds, my goals are different now. So, whether you are looking to start getting into shape, or you are looking to maintain, I can help.

My wife Carolyn will also be assisting with a focus on the culinary aspects of your fitness plan. Her background in nutrition and restaurants has given her the tools necessary to design great tasting food with the right focus on fitness.
